General Policies
Your first
appointment
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment. There is a bit of paperwork to complete. These forms will help me to tailor the treatment to your needs, so that the service bolsters your
overall health.
Late policy
If you are late for your appointment, then I will do my best to honor the remainder of your treatment time, up to one-third of the time you scheduled.* You will be responsible
for full payment of the session you originally scheduled.
If I am late for an appointment, then you may elect to request the full time for the
originally-scheduled appointment, or you are welcome to a discounted session.
Payments
I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and PayPal payments. Massage, bodywork, and in-person Reiki sessions are payable post-session. Distance and telephone sessions must be paid
prior to the appointment time. (Your payment is your appointment confirmation.)
Referrals
If you enjoy the results of the work we do together, then don't keep me a secret! I appreciate you telling your friends and acquaintances about me.
Cancellation / rescheduling
Excepting emergencies, I require a 24-hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling request.
If you are unavoidably detained, there is no penalty on the first occurrence.
After a missed or cancelled appointment, I may require that you prepay future appointments.
*A session will be cancelled automatically if you miss one-third of the scheduled session time (10 minutes of a 30-minute session, 20 minutes of a 60-minute session, etc.).
No-Show Policy (Missed appointments)
Every session that you schedule is set aside especially for you. When you schedule, others who are interested in that time are turned away. Missing a confirmed appointment without communication may result in a charge up to the full session fee. Two no-shows disqualify a client from future services through this practice.
Allergies or sensitivities
If you have allergies or sensitivities, please tell me about them when you schedule, so that I may accommodate you. I do smudge my physical space—so do let me know if you are
sensitive to smoke.
Gratuities
Monetary gratuities are gracefully accepted, but never expected. The best tips you can give are rescheduling for a return appointment, and telling your friends and acquaintances about
me.
Refunds
Refunds are not offered.
Massage-Specific Policies
All services provided through this practice are therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.
Inappropriate language or behavior from the client will result in immediate termination of the session. The client will be responsible for paying the full session fee, and will be disqualified from receiving future services.
Client must cease all use of alcohol and drugs a minimum of 12 hours prior to appointment time.
Attend your bodywork session with a physically clean body.
Clients may disrobe to their comfort level.
Draping is always required. All clients will be fully covered--with the exception of the area that is being worked on--to preserve both modesty and warmth.
Massage sessions are centered around the mindful, therapeutic application of touch. Lotions, creams, and/or oils will be applied to the client's body. If you have allergies, sensitivities, or special requests regarding fragrances, please let the therapist know.
Refunds are not offered. This management will cheerfully offer a reasonable solution, in the case of disputes.
